Spring 2024 Tarentaise Talk

Welcome! You have chosen to raise the right kind of cattle as there are so many beneficial traits that the Tarentaise breed has to offer any herd. On this Forms/Resources tab you will find many documents helpful. If there is anything that you have questions about, never hesitate to call the association office at 816-652-2220 or call one of the seven board members as we are always happy to help.

As a member of the association you have the right to vote in meetings, at this moment in time there is free advertising for all members on our website as well as our Facebook page. Please see the ad form that will help us advertise your Tarentaise. You will also receive the “Tarentaise Talk” quarterly, please let the office know if you would like it in email form/ mailed out or both. We have promotional handouts that are available to help promote the Tarentaise in your area as well as a “Tips Online” page that can help you sell your cattle right off of the farm.

Do you have or know of someone showing Tarentaise cattle under the age of 21? Do you have to show cattle to be a member? Nope. There are some very young members who love their Tarentaise cattle and want to be a part of the online chatter with others who share the same interests. There is a Junior Tarentaise members one-time fee that expires at the age of 21. As a junior you can show cattle in our online cattle show. Enter to win photo contests with your animals and attend meetings where there are activities geared for the junior members. You can find the juniors on Facebook and Instagram.
