What is the Ashton Bray Memorial Scholarship?
Ashton Richard Bray, called “Beebo” by his loved ones, went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2011 after a brief illness. His father is Quentin Bray, and his great-grandfather is Leonard Sheriff of Seven Lakes Tarentaise in Eastanollee, Georgia. Ashton was a 7 year old with an unquenchable zest for life and passion for animals. Every day, no matter the season, he would spend hours outdoors at his barn with his goats, cows, pigs and rabbits. He loved showing his animals and participating in 4-H events as aften as he could. He won many awards and buckles during his short time in the show ring. To honor his life and love for 4-H, his family created the Ashton Bray Memorial Scholarship Foundation. This non-profit foundation is dedicated to supporting FFA and 4-H (and ATA Juniors) students in their academic futures.
